Multistrings

Guitars with additional bass-strings were already to be found at the end of the 18th century although at that time the repertoire wasnt very large for this type of instruments.

In  the second quarter of the 19th century we find, corresponding to guitar-literature (Coste, Mertz, Regondi) a large number of multi-stringed guitars  by different authors  with various construction and string-design.
